Pooled Backgrounds for the Coterie of the Fiery Cross:

Anchor:Allies 4 (Ulfhide 3, Wymer 1), Resources 4 (Ulfhide 1 and Padric UiNiall 3) - the Sparrowclyffe Kindred

  1. Raedmon Ulfgarson (Clan Brujah) -Wymer’s younger brother; embraced by Setanta. He watched over the Sparrowclyffe Kindred after his sire went into torpor, until the colapse of Quintus' tower in 1021. In the interviening years he ruled Sparrowclyffe Downs secretly as Prince until the Norman Conquest drove him out. He joined Henri deAnici and the Sword Brotherhood for the 1st through 3rd Crusades, slipping into the debt of Prince Radu while re-settling his Anglo-Saxon kin fleeing Norman opression to join distant cousins in Hungary. He has some influence amongst the Crusader movement, specificaly the Brotherhood of the Sword.
  2. Sabert, childe of Borhum, Cappadocian: An old family retainer who's misfortune it was to become entombed with the rest beneath Quintus' Tower in Wales, his master Borhum turned him rather than let him die. Waking a bit earlier than the rest in Jerusalem, he met with others of his clan and has since learned a good deal about what it means to be a graverobber. After being briefly lost in the catacombs of the Holy City, he followed the Fiery Cross to the Land beyond the Forest and took residence in Ulfmon's castle in Balgrad, where he clings to the threads of the only life he's ever known.

Resources 4: Pooled together by Padric UiNiall and his wife Ulfihide, the two have used their resources to resettle in Shaazburg. They own an estate at the edge of town and are heavily invested in the local Saxon Merchant community developing trade there. They also run a very successful husbandry buisness.

Relic 4 : The Fiery Cross (a holy sword) - forged from a silver cross that fell from the sky by the smith Mael Cais, this blade caries a divine aura and is emblazioned with the images of angels and saints.
It is kept in a reliquary in Belgrad, protected by the Brotherhood of the Sword in Ulfmon's castle.

Friends and Foes, dead and living

Leodred "Longhair" - former Eorl of the Sparrowclyffe Downs.  Brother to many and beloved by all, he died the winter of 1013 of wounds incured in the events of "The Fallen Angel".

Berhrum "Bad-tongue" (played by Ian W.) Ulfgar's third son, he was given over to the Clergy as a boy as he heard the voices of the dead. He tended the flock for the Sparrowclyff Downs, until he left the Church to take a... different vocation, becomming instead a member of the Order of Hermes for a few years. In the course of events however he sacrificed himself to aid his kin, and was embraced by the Capadocians. He eventualy met final death at the hands of the Baali in the Catacombs of Jerusalem.

Satanta (Clan Brujah) - he may quite possibly be the legendary celitic hero Cuchulainn, who long ago served and defended King Connor. With a huge dog of the same name, he helped the Gild of the Fiery Cross in engineering the defeat of Crom Cruach, and had since moved into the red fortress the Demon built. He brought the majority of the Gild under his dominion via the Blood Oath and embraced Raedmon as his childe before quietly slipping into Torpor.

Cuchulainn (a Dog) - the name Setanta gives his  hound, a black mastiff the size of a small pony. He follows Raedmon around now that his master has slipped into torpor.

Linus - believed to be an Angel with an interest in the Coitre's fate, it may have been through his guidance that they came to be in the possession of the Fiery Cross..

Mael Cais - a Master Smith living in Port Erin on the Isle of Man at the turn of the 1st mellenium. Forged the Fiery Cross into the holy sword.

Crom Cruach - A Demon of legend, first met while masquerading as Cuchulainn. He was exposed and defeated by the Gild of the Fiery Cross with the help of their holy sword and the methuselah Setanta. He was again encountered near the plague-ridden town of Heather's Edge in Northumbria, where he was once again routed thanks to the efforts of the Gild.
